Louis XV style mantel carved in Carrara marble in the second half of the 19th century. The entablature is adorned in the centre with a large stylized shell in the shape of a plant. The hearth opening is underlined by a continuous molding ending in scrolls. The slightly curved console jambs are panelled.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace and with its marble floor which is broken but will be restored in our workshop.
