This mantel was made of a beautiful Sarrancolin marble in the 1950's.
Its serpentine entablature receives on its center a beautiful asymetrical shell framed on a side with rococo motifs and on the other with small wings. The corners receive moulded spandrels. The entablature is underlined with an oblong moulding stopping above the jambs with moulded decoration and very sligthly curved.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor but could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
