This Louis XV fireplace was made in the late 19th century of Carrara marble.
Its serpentine entablature is adorned with a beautiful Rococo style motif composed of a shell above an acorn surrounded by acanthus leaves and scrolls. The decoration is also underlined with an oblong moulding which continues to run along the curved feet also richly adorned with scrolls, a shell on the upper part followed by a Rococo motif holding a small acorns garland and finished on the lower part with an acanthus leaves decoration.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor but could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
