This beautiful antique Louis XVI style fireplace was made in the 19th century in Carrara marble. The winding jambs are delicately decorated with a frieze of coin-like motifs. The frieze is decorated with a ribbon wrapped on the length framed by a pearls frieze. At its ends, two square naturalistic rosettes are carved in the marble. The decor is very fine thanks to the beautiful Carrara marble.
This fireplace comes with an antique cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order.
