This Louis XVI style fireplace was made in the 19th century in Carrara marble. The curved jambs are decorated with thin moldings of pearls and acanthus leaves. The entablature is ornamented with rosettes and an oval medallion. The central medallion is framed by two pearl panels containing a Greek frieze.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert and with its marble floor, which is broken but will be restored in our workshop.
