Antique Louis XVI style mantel made in the 19th century in Carrara marble. The jambs take the form of fluted columns joined together, thinned at their bases adorned with acanthus leaves. The capitals are also decorated with acanthus leaves on which the molded top rests. The entablature is decorated with a panel composed of garlands of flowers and ribbons framed by a frieze of pearls.
This mantel is sold with a modern cast iron interior adapted to this mantel and with its original hearth floor.
