This antique Louis XV style mantel was carved in white Carrara marble at the end of the 19th century. It is the Pompadour model which is characterized by a scrolled entablature adorned with a medallion in its center. Oblong moldings emphasize the curvature of the mantel.
This fireplace is sold without shrinkage or hearth slab but it can be made on demand (depending on marble availability).
