This antique Louis XV style fireplace in Arabescato marble was made in the 19th century. This rounded fireplace has windings jambs adorned on their canted feet with acanthus leaf and with shell on the frieze. This motif also decorates the center of the frieze where throne a broad and open shell embellished with small bells. Oblong moldings run through the jambs and the frieze and accentuate the sinuosity of this typical Louis XV style fireplace.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order.
