This Directoire style fireplace was made in the 19th century. The jambs are two fluted half-columns surmounted by a Ionic capital.
This fireplace is made out of Blue Turquin marble while the frieze and half-columns are made of pink marble from Portugal, giving a beautiful polychrome to this fireplace.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert and with its marble floor.
