Grand Neo-Renaissance style mantel made out of terracotta in the 19th century. Its decor follows the Neo-Renaissance style. Two columns topped with foliaged capitals supports the first lintel. This lintel is decorated with an interwoven frieze of bunches of grapes and vine leaves. A second lintel, slightly set back, rests on the first lintel. It is decorated in the centre with a shield bearing an unidentified coat of arms. On either side of the shield, there is intertwined foliage. The top of this mantel features a cornice crowned with several finials. One finial is a sturtural element which crowns the ridge of a roof. Decorative flowers are carved all along the cornice, and at the center of this cornice rests a helmet with a plume, the latter evokes medieval and Renaissance period armors.
