This beautiful antique Louis XV style fireback was made during the 18th century. Its unusual format is crowned by a semicircular arch. It is richly decorated with greyhound heads flanking the Le Juge family coat of arms. The latter consists of a cedar of Lebanon surrounded by a crescent and a star. It is topped with a coronet. This beautiful fireback is in very good condition.
