The gates need to be stripped and repainted. The whole piece needs regilding. The hinges are present, but the lock and vertical latch from top to bottom are missing.The top has been broken in 2 parts and needs restoration.
Large gates from the period and in the style of Napoléon III. Two horizontal frizes decorate the gate. It is made out of two types of iron; wrought iron and cast iron. Most of the workmanship went into the cast iron, which was was used for the decorative parts and the top of the gates. The top of the gates is fixed to a bar. The bars are made of iron.
